Brazil Approves Syngenta Stacked GM Corn

Syngenta announced on 13 November 2009 from Basel, Switzerland that the Brazilian National Biosafety Committee has approved its MIR162 corn and Bt11xGA21 stacked corn

Syngenta's MIR162 is insect resistant, targetted at controlling the fall army worm, a major threat to Brazilian corn.  Its Bt11xGA21 corn is insect resistance (BT) and herbicide tolerant (HT).
