BASF Reports Top Earnings in 2011, Has Big Goals for 2012

On 24 February 2011, German based BASF announced that its sales and earnings of €73.5 billion in 2011 surpassed those for 2010.  In the Agricultural Solutions division, sales in Europe "were driven by positive year-end business in France. In North America, sales were up due to higher fungicide sales." Overall, in 2011 the division's sales rose by 3% to €4.2 billion.
