Missouri Governor Heads Trade Mission to Brazil

On 13 April 2012 Brownfield Ag News reported that the Governor of Missouri, Jay Nixon was leading a trading mission to Brazil this week.  Accompanying him on the trip were corporate executives from Monsanto and Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica.  Governor Nixon decided to make the trip to increase the state of Missouri's trade relations.  Brazil is Missouri's 10th largest export market.  Exports include: chemicals, transportation equipment and computers.  In Brazil, Governor Nixon will sign a trade agreement with the Governor of São Paulo state aimed at further increasing trade, education, and cultural relations.
