BASF's SAFO Campaign Reaches 100 Million People in Developing World with Fortified Vitamin A Oil

BASF's SAFO fortified vitamin A oil campaign has successfully reached its target of impacting 100 million people in the developing world.  SAFO (Strategic Alliance for the Fortification of Oil and Other Staple Foods) is a partnership formed in 2008 between German based Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and BASF.  Results of the campaign were announced at the Hungry! Conference in Berlin on 10 May 2012.
