Potential Food Aid Cuts Concern Advocates

In 2012 Farm Bill and Budget Deficit Bills, U.S. Congress Considers Food Aid Cuts Raising Concern from Food Aid Advocates

In the budget bill the U.S. House of Representatives voted to cut approximately $310 billion from the budget over the next 10 years. This includes cutting food stamps for 2 million recipients and reducing funding or programs such as Meals on Wheels.
