Amway integrates Genetic Testing into Weight Loss Products

Amway North America today launched BODYKEY by NUTRILITE™, a weight management program that uses genetic testing to determine how a person should eat to most effectively manage their weight.

The test results break down into three different categories: Carb Reducer, Fat Trimmer, and Better Balance. These are based of an Inherent Genetic Test Kit that uses a cotton swab to swab cells from inside a person's cheek. Tests can be self-administered at at home and mailed to the lab. Results are mailed back to the customer. Once a person's type is determined, each can purchase specific meal replacements and supplements from an Amway representative.
